Yoga Beat is a new method which combines different yogic techniques with music and rhythm. With its roots in Vinyasa Yoga, traditional Yoga positions are combined with elements of breathing and bandhas, infused with the dynamism of dance.
Our events are an unforgettable yoga journey through sound and light, where the practitioner will experience a different and fuller practice compared to a traditional yoga class. This will be possible by fusing dynamic movements, music and pranayama altogether, allowing the practitioner to release immediate stress and emotional blockages.
This Power Yoga practice uses dynamic movements to prepare the body to enter specific asanas (position)
Sequences are combined with electronic music beats, or diverse white noises and live instruments, which have been carefully curated to fit within the practice. Throughout the class, there will be moments of relaxation and passive perception, alternated with intense physical work. The final section of each class will allow for deep stretching, followed by relaxation and meditation.
The practice of Yoga Beat will be used as a tool to let go of inhibitions and reach a higher connection with oneself. In these classes, the body, the breathing, the heartbeats, the feelings and emotions will all be connected and involved in a wonderful yoga flow, allowing people to take a little break from life and all its challenges.
Whether you are at the start of your journey and looking for an alternative and fun first Yoga adventure, or are an experienced practitioner who wants to expand on existing knowledge, Yoga Beat is a practice for all levels!
This Dynamic yoga practice, ends with a sequence / flow of choreographic asanas, with a result very similar to dance. The first part of the class takes place as a classical yoga lesson, but in the end the mats are removed and the sequence is practiced as a real dance flow.
